Difficult Life Transitions
Some things in life are much harder to deal with than others. Having a hard time functioning normally or feeling happy after going through a significant change? It’s normal to feel upside down after:
-
losing your job;
-
a break-up or divorce;
-
retirement;
-
the arrival of a newborn;
-
grown children leave the nest;
-
getting bad news about your health;
-
moving;
-
going through other transitions that caught you by surprise.
Each person has a different way of adapting to change. Some changes are smooth, while others can cause stress and anxiety, even leading to depression. It’s never too early or too late. Get in touch!

Victims & Survivors
No one has the right to be violent towards you or your children. Are you scared or hurt? Do you feel alone or in danger? Women, children, men and families can be victims of violence. Violence has many faces.
-
It can involve physical, sexual, verbal or psychological abuse.
-
Misuse of power can also be a form of domestic violence, like control over money, friends and outings.
If somebody is being abusive or controlling towards you, you must talk about it. It’s never too early or too late! Make today your turning point.
