About Us
In 2024, we rebranded as REFLEXION, formerly the Hearst, Kapuskasing and Smooth Rock Falls Counselling Services. This change aims to widen the focus on the actual service area, as the former name did not reflect the scope of Wellness Services that we offer.
Mental health and physical safety go hand in hand, and REFLEXION sees wellness from both a prevention and a promotion standpoint. More awareness means better solutions for a happier life. This refreshed vision supports our model of excellence for Northerners.
The broad range of social and mental health services represents a versatile resource for the region, which extends from Hornepayne to Cochrane, all the way to Moosonee.
REFLEXION is a community non-profit organization that is proud of its francophone roots. The team offers bilingual services in French and English throughout the region. We are funded mainly by the Province of Ontario and administered by a board of directors. Our services make way for a new perspective on the person and on the possibilities of a better quality of life.
